Katie and David ROCK THE DRESS!

     Rock The Dress is a special fashion photo session I offer for after the wedding day, up to a year afterward.

     This session is a way for the bride to get another chance to wear her special dress, as well as get some really cool portraits with her new husband there just aren't time for on the wedding day.

     Some brides choose to wear their dress as they wore it on their wedding day; some REALLY ROCK it with fun accessories and props, like Katie did.

     You may remember Katie and David's wedding in Santa Monica, California, from a previous blog.  Instead of wearing her dress the way she did on the California beach, Katie ROCKed hers with a black cage veil, black gloves, and black jewelry.  This way, she got two completely different looks from the same dress, and had a great time in their photo session!

Kristin + Ryan

 Kristin and Ryan are originally from 'up North,' but have made their home here in Charlotte, NC.  They like to travel, and especially taking day trips to the beautiful mountains in the Blowing Rock and Banner Elk area!  So, we took a little drive and did their engagement session in the lovely, and cool, mountains last weekend!

They were super silly, super in love, and great sports about 'the really cool rocks', rain, and playing in the road!

Priscilla Kanipe bridals

Angela + John

  This past weekend, I had the pleasure to meet Angela and John for their engagement portraits...and they were sooo cute!  I don't think 10 minutes passed without them saying "I love you!"
  Angela and John have been dating over 14 years, so this wedding has been a long time in coming...they are looking at a date in September 2011.

Senior portraits

  Graduation is upon us, and summer is on its way!  It's not too early to start thinking of senior portraits for upcoming seniors and doing a last photo session for those who are graduating.  Senior year brings so many changes, and that is why I recommend doing a session at the beginning and the end.

Charlee at the beach!

  It's the crazy busy season for weddings right now, so a weekend off seems like a dream...so, I decided to run away in the middle of the week for a quick little bit of R and R.  I took my husband and my adorable-model of the year- 3 year old niece Charlee.
  She LOVES to have her photo taken, and is a little diva for sure.
She picked this outfit out...can you believe it? :)

Christina + Brian

Christina and Brian will be getting married in July, and we just got together for some engagement portraits the other week.  Instead of a traditional guest book, I am custom designing a photo guest book for them that will include photos from their engagement session and plenty of space for signatures!
