Katie and David reception

After their gorgeous wedding on the beach in Santa Monica, California, Katie and David wanted to have a reception at home for all the friends and family who couldn't make it to California.  They chose Gaston Country Club as the site for their celebration.
Jenns' Sugarlicious Bakery provided the gorgeous cake!
Talley's Florist created these gorgeous floral arrangements of red roses and antiqued hydrangeas...

The happy couple posed for formal photos with their families under a gorgeous April sunset...
...before taking a walk with nieces before the reception!
And let the party begin...

Katie and David tie the knot!

Last Friday was a gorgeous day for a wedding-especially if you're lucky enough to get married on the beach in sunny Santa Monica, California!  Katie and David Miller did just that, and I was lucky enough to be the one to document the moment they became man and wife!

First stop was Studio 1452 in Santa Monica, where Sara did a beautiful job on giving Katie the perfect beach waves!

A gorgeous bouquet from Ezai Floral Designs awaited Katie back in the hotel room.

A quick walk across the street from the hotel was the Santa Monica Pier and beach where Katie and David were to be wed.
As we waited for David...

And he arrives...

Katie is a HUGE fan of ferris wheels, so of course no visit to the Santa Monica Pier would be complete without a ride on the ferris wheel...

An after-party was held at Moon Shadows Lounge in Malibu, California, and a formal reception held the following week at Gaston Country Club in Gastonia, NC.
