Editing...

     Well, it's a rainy, dreary day today after the incredible blue sky and sunshine from yesterday...So glad we had the wonderful weather for engagement portraits!

Today is all about love, love and more love!  All day, I'll be editing engagement portraits from yesterday, meeting with brides to talk about how I can help them document their special day, and booking bridal and engagement sessions!

Here's a little more of that sunshine and happiness from yesterday to perk up this dreary day! :)

Kattie and Jerry

     Today I had the opportunity to spend some time with a very special couple from up north who are now proud to call NC their home.

Kattie and Jerry met in law school at Wake Forest, and fell in love with each other, and with NC.  They are planning a  September wedding locally, with a reception at Gaston Country Club.

Even though they were a little nervous about trying to smile on command, Kattie and Jerry did a great job in their portraits, and their love for each other really shows!  I hope you enjoy their portraits as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Big Girl Barbie!

Today is going to be a fun day-I get to hang out at The Social Butterfly, which is CiCi Hancock's awesome dress shop!  She has tons of gorgeous bridal, bridesmaid, mother of the bride, prom, formal, you-name-it dresses!

I'm going to meet and greet with brides-to-be, and it is so much fun seeing them try on bridal gowns and finding "THE ONE."  It's like playing "big girl Barbie!"

Everyone's in Love!!

  Ok, so this is my first attempt at blogging!  So, please be easy on me...

After a few years of managing a portrait studio, I finally started my own photography business last year, and am now getting back to my true love.....weddings!

I love everything about weddings...the DRESS!!!, the flowers, the fact that everyone looks so nice and gorgeous, and the happiness that everyone involved in this special day feels.

I'm so excited about all my weddings coming up, but of course, engagement and bridal portraits come first! So, I guess I'll share some engagement portraits taken of two very special friends of mine, whose wedding is coming up in a mere 35 days in beautiful Malibu, California!
